First, MySpace makes a comeback (Is Justin Timberlake now your first MySpace friend?) and then emo-heartthrobs Fall Out Boy have announced a reunion… does that mean the “scene” scene is back? I hope so. I also hope this means that boys will start to wear tight pants and eyeliner again. If so, I may become a sexual deviant.

This was my definition of sexy circa 2006.

Admittedly I will listen to and love all of *Fall Out Boy’s new music, but in all honestly, I am not totally on board with being a scene kid again. I now like repressing my feelings instead of writing them angrily in a journals and I do happen to enjoy laughter and smiling in pictures. And it is too much maintenance for me to upkeep a straight, off-kilter mullet. Unless boys start wearing eyeliner again, THEN I am totally back in the scene. Oh, and if sidekicks come back. I always wanted one of those.
